How to render a WebM

How to render a WebM

  1. We suggest that Media Encoder, After Effects and Premier are all closed.
  2. Download the WebM plugin here
  3. Once downloaded and installed, open the source files for the package you are wanting to edit
  4. Tweak the package to your heart's content. Most of our packages can be color changed using the "Master Controller" or "Essential Graphics"
  5. Select the items you wish to export in the "Project" window using CTRL + CLICK to select multiple.
  6. Head to "File" -> "Export" -> "Add to Adobe Media Encoder queue"
  7. Within Adobe Media Encoder, you will see the comps you exported on the right side window
  8. In the "Format" category you will see "H.264". If you are exporting elements which need transparency you will need to set this to "WEBM" and check "Include Alpha Channel"
  9. If you wanted to export elements without transparency you can leave this as "H.264"
  10. Once you are finished, press the green arrow (start queue) in the upper right-hand corner to start encoding.
